On Post Accommodations

The
gym, is free and open to marchers.
Availability is on
a first come, first served basis
beginning March 18 at 1 p.m. until March 22 at 9
a.m. Usually the gym does not fill up but please
consider a contingency plan, just in case. Cots
are available on a first come first serve basis,
and you are required to bring your own blankets,
sleeping bag and pillow.

Lodging is for all authorized ID card holders.

option is based on space available.

Camping is available at the Volunteer Park.
You just need to bring your tents and gear, no
reservation are required. If you have a
camper you need to make reservations by calling
Outdoor Recreation at 575-678-1713.
Camping is open to all participants of the
Bataan Memorial Death March.

Outdoor Recreation - Bldg.445
has limited 9-person pop up and 4-person pop up
campers available. The
weekend
(Thursday-Sunday)
cost
for the 9 person camper is $200.00 with a
$200.00 cleaning/damage
deposit. The
weekend
(Thursday-Sunday)
cost for the 4 person camper is
$150.00 with a $150.00
cleaning/damage deposit. No utilities available
for these campers (just sleepers) and will be
set up prior to your arrival. Sleeping bags are
also available for $5 per bag per day. To
reserve a camper call 575-678-1713 prior to
March
17, 2010.

Take the Highway 70 East exit from
Interstate 10 or 25 and proceed through the
city about 25 miles to the missile range
exit.
El
Paso, Texas:
Take the Alamogordo Highway 54 exit off
Interstate 10. As you leave the off-ramp,
you will be on the Patriot Freeway. Continue
through the
northeast part of the city until the freeway
becomes Martin Luther King. White Sands
Missile Range is straight ahead about 40
miles.
Alamogordo,
N.M.:
Take Highway 70 west. Proceed about 47 miles
to the missile range exit.
