Any changes to registration
can ONLY be done
during in-processing on 28 or 29 March.




Refunds will NOT be given once you register. 
Registration is non-transferable.

Registered participants receive a 2008 Bataan Memorial Death March T-shirt, a commemorative dog tag, a certificate of participation, a Bataan Memorial Death March timing chip (the timing chip is yours to keep as a souvenir -- you do not have to turn it in at the end of the race), a pre-event continental breakfast and post-event meal.

 
When you arrive at White Sands Missile Range
Please allow extra time when entering White Sands Missile Range because of security procedures.

Everyone entering the installation must be prepared to show photo identification.  All vehicles are subject to search.  Be prepared to show vehicle registration and proof of insurance (or rental car contract). We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
 
In-processing  

Friday, March 28, 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.
Saturday, March 29, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Individual marchers and teams (the team captain or a representative) must in process and pick up their packet (which includes time chip, bib number,
T-shirt, dog tag, certificate and meal ticket) at the Community Center on Friday or Saturday. 

 

 

CATEGORY CHANGES TAKEN ONLY DURING INPROCESSING

There is a $25 fee to change from a team to an individual category or to change to your individual entry to another individual or to make any changes in team members. Changes may not be made prior to inprocessing but can be done during inprocessing/packet pick up on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29. All fees must be paid at that time.

ANY CHANGES IN CATEGORIES MUST BE MADE AT INPROCESSING. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE PRIOR. THERE IS NOT A CHANGE FEE TO CHANGE CATEGORIES.

YOU CAN NOT CHANGE FROM AN INDIVIDUAL TO A TEAM.  YOU MUST RE-REGISTER WITH YOUR TEAM AND PAY THE TEAM FEE.

Team Captain Briefings

Briefings will be conducted at the top of each hour on Friday between
10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Community Center.  The team captain or a team representative must attend one of these briefings.

Sunday, March 30
Frontier Club
Bldg 1330, Martin Luther King Ave.

  • Plan on arriving at White Sands Missile Range by 4:30 a.m.

  • It will be DARK when you arrive - consider packing a pen-light for the early morning hours.

  • Continental breakfast will be available starting at 4:30 a.m.

  • Marchers must report to the start area by 5:30 a.m.

  • Opening ceremony is at 6:30 a.m.

  • The march starts at 7 a.m. with marchers in the following order:

1. AmpuTeam Soldiers
2. Individual Light Categories 
3. Team Light Categories
4. Individual *Heavy Categories
5. Team *Heavy Categories
6. Honorary March Participants

*It is suggested that marchers in the heavy categories leave their backpacks and rucksacks off until 10 minutes prior to departure as they will be the last out.

 

NO REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICK-UP ON MARCH DAY!
Awards Pick-Up

Sunday, March 30
11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Frontier Club (by Golf Course entrance)

Medals are awarded to first and second place in each category of each division of the 26.2-mile course.  No awards are given for the 15.2-mile honorary course.

Results will be posted at the awards pick-up area.
