On Post Lodging

• The gym, is free and open to all marchers. It is on a first come, first served basis beginning March 27 at 1 p.m. until March 31 at 9 a.m. Usually the gym does not fill up but please consider a contingency plan, just in case.

• Army Lodging is for all authorized ID card holders. Call 575-678-4559 or e-mail WSMR.Lodging.Office@us.army.mil . This option is based on space available.

• Camping is available at the Volunteer Park.  You just need to bring your tents and gear, no reservation are required.  If you have a camper you need to make reservations by calling Outdoor Recreation at 575-678-1713.  Camping is open to all participants of the Bataan Memorial Death March. 

Local Accommodations

Check these links to find accommodations in the surrounding communities: Las Cruces, N.M.: Take the Highway 70 East exit from Interstate 10 or 25 and proceed through the city about 25 miles to the missile range exit.    El Paso, Texas: Take the Alamogordo Highway 54 exit off Interstate 10. As you leave the off-ramp, you will be on the Patriot Freeway. Continue through the northeast part of the city until the freeway becomes Martin Luther King. White Sands Missile Range is straight ahead about 40 miles.  Alamogordo, N.M.: Take Highway 70 west. Proceed about 47 miles to the missile range exit.
